INFORMATION CLAUSE FOR LIBRARY USERS

Pursuant to Art. 13 of the general regulation on the protection of personal data of 27 April, 2016 (EU Official Journal L 119 of 04.05.2016) with regard to the processing of personal data, also abbreviated as “GDPR” rules, hereby we would like to inform you that:

  1. your personal data is administrated by the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, ul. Wieniawskiego 1, 61-712 Poznań,
  2. contact with Data Protection Officer is provided at the request: iod@amu.edu.pl,
  3. your personal data will be processed to make your access to library collections possible – following Art. 6 par. 1 lit. b of the general regulation on personal data protection of 27 April, 2016 and the binding agreement between you and the Administrator on the use of the libraries of Poznań-based research and scientific institutions, founders of the Poznań Foundation of Scientific Libraries, i.e.: Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poznań University of Technology, Poznań University of Life Sciences, Poznań University of Economics and Business, Poznań University of Physical Education, Poznań University of the Arts, Ignacy J. Paderewski Musical Academy, Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences, Poznań Society of Friends of Sciences and Raczyński Library,
  1. recipients of your personal data and categories of recipients:
  2. authorized library staff members,
  3. authorized staff members of the Poznań Foundation of Scientific Libraries,
  4. founders of the Foundation and its staff members to the extent necessary to provide services to you in compliance with this agreement,
  5. your personal data will be stored for a period arising from the provisions of law indicated above and necessary to exercise the rights and obligations arising from the services provided to you,
  6. you have the right to demand access to your personal data from the Administrator, the right to update or correct your personal data, remove or limit the processing rights, raise objections to processing of data, transfer data and withdraw your consent for processing at any given time,
  7. you have the right to submit a complaint to the relevant supervisory body – President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa,
  8. the provision of your personal data is voluntary yet necessary as the rejection of submitting data may limit the available services provided by the Library.
