Order a copy

Poznań University Library offers a range of copying services for individuals (researchers, AMU staff members and students). Free of charge.

This service is offered to AMU students, PhD students and AMU staff members. Copy requests must be sent via email using the domain’s email addresses (amu.edu.pl) and should include full bibliographic details for a requested resasonable portion of a book or a journal article as well as the item’s call number from the online catalogue of the Library (with its status: available). Requests for items held in the book collections of AMU faculty libraries will not be processed. This service is free of charge until further notice.

    • Copy requests should be sent to the following address: zamowkopie.bu@amu.edu.pl
    • Only requests sent via email from the registered accounts (@amu.edu.pl) will be processed
    • Requests will be processed daily from Monday to Friday, between 9.00 am. and 3.00 pm
    • Due to growing interest in the service and the growing number of requests, we will not be able to send acknowledgements of the receipts of orders. We can respond to your requests only when it is necessary
    • No more than a maximum count page of 50 of the original can be scanned and sent with one-time request
    • A table of contents of each scanned title, not counted in the page limit, is appended to the document for convenience

The use of works protected by copyright in accordance with the permitted personal (private) use. Art. 23 of the Act of February 4, 1994 on copyright and related rights

Article 23. 1. It shall be permitted to use free of charge the work having been already disseminated for purposes of personal use without the permission of the author. This provision shall not authorize to build constructions according to other authors' architectural works as well as architectural and urban planning works and to use electronic data bases possessing the features of a piece of work unless this applies to one's own scientific use not connected with any profit-gaining purposes. 2. The scope of personal use shall include use of single copies of works by a circle of people having personal relationships, and in particular any consanguinity, affinity or social relationship.
