Rules for circulation of library materials at Poznań University Library

Research workers and academic staff of universities participating in the Poznań Foundation of Scientific Libraries, Polish Academy of Sciences and the Western Institute or other institutions of higher learning of the town that have appropriate agreements with the University Library, PhD students can have on loan at any one time:
- Books checked out from the circulation desk (counter library) (copies labelled ”For circulation” 5 vols for a borrowing period of 30 days each, with the electronic extension of the loan period of up to two times – 30 days each,

from the stacks (copies labelled: ”For circulation”) 20 vols. for 365 days, with the extension of the loan period of up to two times
– 30 days each,

from the stacks (copies marked ”For circulation for research workers and the University’s PhD students”) 20 vols. for 365 days, with the extension of the loan period of up to two times – 30 days each.

Students can have on loan at any one time:

from the circulation desk (copies labelled ”For circulation”) 10 vols. For 90 days, with the extension of the loan period of up to two times – 30 days each,

from the stacks (copies labelled ”For circulation”) 10 vols. For 30 days, with the extension of the loan period for up to two times – 30 days each.

Other users of the Library entitled to take books on loan (in line with Section 91, item 4 of the Statute of the University) can have on loan at any one time:

”For circulation”) 5 vols. for 30 days, with the extension of the loan period for up to two times – 30 days each,

from the stacks (copies labelled ”For circulation”) 5 vols. for 30 days, with the extension of the loan period for up to two times – 30 days each.
Items from the bookstock of the Counter Library are available for users outside the University after 15 days from the first day of a new term.
